Mick Roemer is a recognized leader and innovator in the casino gaming industry with more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and product development.
In addition to his position as President of Roemer Gaming LLC, he serves as Senior Vice President of Multimedia Games in Austin, Texas. Roemer has been instrumental in helping Multimedia Games expand into Class 3 gaming throughout the United States as well as re-establish its leadership position in Class 2 and Central Determinate gaming. Roemer is a key contributor to the product and game development groups.
♦ Holding key positions as Senior VP of Sales, Marketing and Game Development for Bally Technologies, Roemer was a key driver in Bally's incredible turn around beginning in 2000; part of the remarkable team that developed the S9000 multi-line reel spinner, Monte Carlo, Millionaire 7's, Playboy Slots, and many others.
♦ With IGT for more than 13 years in senior sales, marketing and product development roles. In senior executive management rolls including VP Marketing for IGT, directed the development and introduction of Wheel Of Fortune, iGame Series and Game King product lines.
♦ As VP Sales for Powerhouse / VLC lead the team that introduced the first successful use of ticket-in / ticket-out (TITO) technology into the North American casino markets setting the stage for the transition to coinless wagering and multi-denomination slots; directed the first successful multi-coin multi-line penny game installations into the U.S. casino markets.
♦ Managed the development and introduction of the first wide area progressive slot machine system "Megabucks" launched by IGT in 1986.
♦ As Vice President of Sales, lead the sales and marketing efforts for the industry's first on-line Player Tracking system at Electronic Data Technologies (EDT).
♦ Directed IGT's sales efforts and expansion into the riverboat markets during the 1990's capturing 90%+ market share in those emerging markets - Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana and Louisiana.
